In late 2019, H4H and a group of donors funded a project to deploy Ecofiltro into as many schools as possible in the province of Jalapa, Guatemala. The ceramic pot filter commercialized as Ecofiltro is a Guatemala invention. It is produced in Guatemala and its technology has been made freely available worldwide. The concept of this filter is simple, affordable and its use is widely accepted. It is acknowledged by the World Health Organization to be the most efficacious means of mitigating diarrheal illness in underprivileged populations.

The combined total of $32,725 USD was raised with H4H contributing $6300. 930 filters were purchased which benefitted 20186 children. The cost of providing safe drinking water with Ecofiltro was 81 cents per child per year.
